ROCKFORD, Mich. — The streak continues. A Michigan couple welcomed their 13th son into the world on Wednesday.

Jay Schwandt told Good Morning America he hoped the couple's 13th child would be a girl.On Wednesday morning, Kateri Schwandt gave birth to an 8 pound 15 ounce boy who measured 22 inches long.

Jay posted on Facebook, "It's a BOY! Now we need to choose a name! BLESSED beyond belief!"

Baby #13 was due Saturday, but arrived four days late. The Schwandt's struck to their tradition of not finding out in advance whether they were having a boy or girl.

The Schwandt boys range from 22 to the most recent addition. When the 13 boys were asked if they wanted another boy in the family, only three raised their hands.

The Schwandt's told Good Morning America they use charts to manage chores and keep chaos at a minimum.

"There's a lot of activity, a lot of commotion, a lot of chaos, but there's also a lot of love," Kateri Schwandt told Good Morning America.
