HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A man who authorities said tried to escape from a Harris County correctional facility on the northeast side was caught Friday evening.
The man was taken back into custody just off Atascocita Road not far from the Lindsay Lyons Park and Sports Complex.
Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said deputies caught him and turned him over to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. They said he would be facing new charges after the escape attempt.
