HOUSTON — A 43-year-old Houston man is facing charges for providing illegal butt injections to customers, according to court documents.
Dustin David Moore, 43, is charged with three counts of practicing medicine without a license or permit causing harm and a count of aggravated assault, court records show. Houston police said Moore is accused of injecting an unknown substance into the buttocks of three different customers. In one instance, he faces an aggravated assault charge for attempting a procedure with one of the customers.
According to court documents, Moore was already on deferred adjudication for assault of a family member impeding breath.
Moore was arrested and given a $50,000 bond for the aggravated assault charge and $30,000 for each of the practicing medicine without a license charge.
The bond conditions for Moore include surrendering his passport and travel documents and restricting his travel to Harris County. He is not to have drugs or firearms.
The judge said he is not allowed to perform any acts that could be interpreted as the practice of medicine.
This is the second high-profile case in the Houston area of someone being accused of providing illegal butt injections. Earlier this month, Consuelo Maria Dal Bo, 56, was charged with a felony drug charge and a misdemeanor charge of practicing medicine without a license, according to court documents.
She was accused of traveling across the country to provide illegal butt injections.
