From eating spicy food to walking around the block, there's endless advice on how expectant mothers can induce labor, but this might be one you haven't heard of.

A pregnant Florida mom tried to coax her overdue son out of her womb by dancing to Michael Jackson's 1980's pop song Thriller.

"Someone told me that Thriller would induce labor," Bonnie Northsea, said in a Facebook post on Wednesday. "Here I am on my due date 40 weeks looking like a fool. I'm so awesome!"

Northsea, who also has a 3-year-old son, told Yahoo Parenting that after watching an "instructional" video on the dance, she decided to upload her own version to Facebook.

"I thought it would be something cute to make my friends laugh on Facebook," Northsea told Yahoo Parenting.

With more than 1 million views on Facebook, Northsea decided to upload the video to YouTube on Thursday. Northsea wrote that the success of the video was a welcomed distraction.

"My husband is fighting a battle with testicular cancer (just diagnosed a month ago) so it has been difficult emotionally recently," Northsea wrote. "This video really helped as it has caused me to laugh over and over again."

USA TODAY Network was not able to confirm whether Northsea's attempt to induce labor was successful.
