Three decades after pulling together a group of the U.K.'s top acts to raise funds for famine relief in Ethiopia, Bob Geldof and Midge Ure are putting together Band Aid 30 to record a new version of Do They Know It's Christmas?, to benefit Ebola relief.

So far, Bono, Chris Martin, Ed Sheeran and One Direction are on board to record the single, which will feature revised lyrics drawing attention to the Ebola crisis. Bono also took part in the original Band Aid, which included Sting and George Michael; and the U2 frontman and Martin were featured in Band Aid 20, which released a version of Christmas in 2004.

One Direction — Harry Styles, left, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik — will release "Where We Are — The Concert Film" on DVD Dec. 1.

The new recording, which the BBC said would be available for download Saturday, is also set to include Paloma Faith, Emeli Sande, Sinead O'Connor, Underworld, Foals and Bastille.

Musicians Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland of Coldplay perform at the gala.

Versions of the song will also be made available in Germany and France. Suggesting artists who might be available for those at a press conference, Geldof teased, "Think Daft Punk. Think Johnny Hallyday."
