The next White House concert will be designed as "a salute to the troops."

Mary J. Blige, Common, John Fogerty, Willie Nelson, Romeo Santos, and a string of military musicians will perform at the White House event on Nov. 6, the administration announced Thursday.

"The President and First Lady will invite music legends, members of the U.S. military, military veterans, and their families ... for a celebration of the men and women who serve the United States," the White House said.

While previous White House concerts have been held in the East Room, this one will be on the South Lawn in order to accommodate more guests.

The concert will be broadcast by PBS on Nov. 7.
