HPD: Drug deal in HCC parking lot leaves 1 stabbed, another shot

Houston police are investigating a violent encounter Saturday at the Houston Community College Northline campus.

HOUSTON — Houston police are investigating the shooting of one man and the stabbing of another Saturday in the parking lot of the Houston Community College Northline campus.

Police responded about 12:15 p.m. to the 8000 block of Fulton Street, where they found the two victims, both 19 years old.

Investigators said the injured teens and two others were in the parking lot trading marijuana, when at some point, things turned violent. 

Both victims were taken to the hospital and are expected to be OK. 

HPD detained an 18-year-old, who police say could face aggravated assault charges. The fourth person was gone before police arrived.

The case is still under investigation.
