Police searching for 3 missing children allegedly taken by family member

According to police, the missing children were taken by their biological mother who did not have rights to them because of a CPS order.

Update: The San Antonio Police Department has reported that the missing boys were safely returned to the Westside Substation Sunday. 

Police said the boys were unharmed and safely in custody of their legal guardian as CPS investigates. An investigation into the actions of the biological mother is underway and she could face an array of charges. 

Authorities said her whereabouts are unknown, but the investigation is ongoing.

An Amber Alert for three missing boys was issued as police work to gather more information. Police said they are with their biological mother who did not have rights to them because of a CPS order.

Below is a list of the names and ages of the missing children:

  • Boae Santos, 13
  • Nathan Martinez, 5
  • Noah Martinez, 7

San Antonio Police believe that the group may be headed somewhere in the Rio Grande Valley. 

The mother's name is Amanda Olivarez and is pictured below.

Police said they are gathering more information about the car Olivarez may be driving in order to request the AMBER Alert.
