GALVESTON COUNTY, Texas — The body matching the description of a missing swimmer was found Sunday morning.
The 29-year-old man was reported missing by his friends who lost sight of him around 1:30 a.m.
The Coast Guard, a boat crew, Gulf Coast Rescue, the Galveston Police Department and Jamaica Beach Fire Department joined the search for the swimmer.
The search has since been suspended.
