SAN ANTONIO — In honor of Mother's Day weekend, we're reflecting on how great moms are.

And while mothers everywhere are certainly appreciated for all that they do, Texas moms are being hailed for their commitment to helping their kiddos with their homework.

According to a recent survey from Brainly, moms in the Lone Star State ranked fourth highest on the list of moms who spend the most time helping their kids with homework.

We already know moms are amazing at helping out with homework-- 77% of moms have stayed up late with their kids proofreading a paper or helping with a project.

But Brainly wanted to find out which state's moms help out the MOST.

Per Brainly's survey, moms in these states spend more than 2 hours a night helping their kids with take-home school work:

  1. Arizona - 68%
  2. Minnesota - 57%
  3. Iowa - 56%
  4. Texas - 56%
  5. Kansas - 53%

Another interesting finding from the survey is that moms are the Chief Homework Officers of the household.

71% of mothers are the main homework helper, followed by a partner or spouse at 18%, a sibling at 7%, and another relative at 3%.
