SPRING, Texas — Is it a possum? A raccoon? Could it be a mouse?
These are the questions a Spring woman are asking after a mystery critter was caught sneaking around on her open utility trailer about two weeks ago.
Shelli Black said she was deleting old photos and videos from her trailer's security camera when she came across the picture of the unidentified animal who seemed to know exactly where the camera was.
Black posted the picture to the ASK SPRING! Facebook page to see if other people could guess what it is.
Some think it’s a skunk or a ferret. Others said a squirrel. Or favorite, a nutria.
Black said she usually sets traps on her trailer to keep the animals away, but this particular day there was no trap.
She thinks the mystery critter is a one-time visitor because she hasn’t seen it in anymore of her surveillance videos.
