And if that's not bad enough, Dallas is ranked among the best.

HOUSTON — Houston is one of the worst cities in the U.S. for football fans, according to a report released last month.

WalletHub looked at the Texans’ record for the past three seasons and factored in the team’s lack of a championship. It listed NRG Stadium among the least-accessible stadiums in the league but did not cite its sources for that information.

WalletHub also used the teams’ number of likes on Facebook and Twitter to determine fan engagement. Houston ranked 27th out of 30 in that category,

However, it is worth noting apart from social media, the Texans have sold out every game in franchise history, marking 17 years’ worth of sold-out games at NRG Stadium.

College football played into the report as well, but none of Houston’s college teams were mentioned in the report.

Overall, according to WalletHub, Houston ranks No. 22 of 46 large cities for football fans and No. 26 of 244 overall. Pittsburgh tops the list for large cities, followed by Boston and Dallas.
