BEAUMONT, Texas —
The United States Marshals’ Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force is looking for a man with ties to Beaumont for failing to appear in court to change his plea for more than 9 counts of sexual assault of a child in Jackson County, Mississippi, according to a U.S. Marshals Service news release.
The man, Jacob Blair Scott has “significant” connections to Beaumont and to Denver in Colorado. It is believed he may have moved to the area to avoid being found according to the release.
