HOUSTON - The public memorial for the man who brought football back to Houston is underway at NRG Stadium.
The Houston Texans on Thursday announced the special guests who plan to attend the "Celebration of Life" for Bob McNair.
The Texans owner died Nov. 23 at the age of 81.
Rev. Eric S.C. Manning of Mother Emanuel A.M.W. Church in Charleston, S.C. will give the welcome and invocation. Tributes will be provided by former Secretary of State James Baker, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, University of South Carolina President Dr. Harris Pastides and Dr. Dave Peterson, Pastor Emeritus at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church.
The list of special guests includes Gov. Greg Abbott, Andre Johnson, Tilman Fertitta, Jim Crane and Neil and Maria Bush, as well as:

- Sen. Ted Cruz
- Ken Houston
- Clark Hunt
- Jim Irsay
- Jerry Jones
- Marcus Lutrell
- Virginia McCaskey

Several current Texans players and coaches are also expected to attend.
The Houston Symphony will provide music for the event.
