TEXAS CITY, Texas – An elderly woman with a cognitive impairment has been found safe in Texas City.
Police said 79-year-old Marie Powers hadn’t been seen since early Wednesday morning.
They launched an extensive search before learning Powers was located at the Quail Valley Retirement Life Care Community in Missouri City, Texas.
Texas City police say staff at the center refused to cooperate when contacted by detectives.
They finally contacted Missouri City police and they confirmed Powers at the center.
