HOUSTON – Police hope surveillance video will help them identify a group of suspects who used a forklift to rip an ATM from the ground in northwest Houston.

According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday to an alarm call at the Houston Highway Credit Union located in the 8100 block of Washington.

When HPD arrived at the scene, they found that the suspects had used a stolen forklift to pry an ATM from the foundation and loaded it into the back of a box truck, police said.

Police hope surveillance video will help them identify a group of suspects who used a forklift to rip an ATM from the ground in northwest Houston.

Police will review surveillance video in hopes of identifying the suspects and to get a description of the box truck used.

Police said they believe the forklift was stolen from a construction site south of the credit union.
