HOUSTON — Houston Police say an undercover surveillance operation led to a car chase Thursday.
They say one man was shot during the operation which made them jump into help.
No police officers were hurt, but officials say patrol units were hit by bullets.
Police say they had to stop their surveillance when shots were fired. They then had to apply a tourniquet
Officials say the man shot is expected to survive from his wound.
Police still have not released the name of the man who was behind the wheel or they charges he will face.
