LIBERTY COUNTY, Texas - A wife stabbed her husband to death Wednesday morning after he physically attacked her, according to deputies.
The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office said around 6:30 a.m. Aaron Christopher Collins, 45, and his wife, Andrea Dawn Beck, 51, were having domestic issues and Collins began beating his wife. In an effort to defend herself, Beck ran to the kitchen and grabbed a knife.
Deputies said Collins continued attacking Beck and that’s when she stabbed him in the chest. Beck called 911 and reported the stabbing.
Collins was pronounced dead at the scene when police arrived.
The couple was alone in their home at the time of the incident, according to deputies.
At this time, no charges have been filed. The case is being referred to a Liberty County Grand Jury for review.
