ROCKPORT, Texas -- Seven people were rescued after a home collapsed at Holiday Beach just north of Copano Bay in Rockport, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS said the second story collapsed due to tornado damage.
Homes in Woodsboro and surrounding Refugio County are also reporting damage from Wednesday night's severe weather.
The National Weather Service is working to determine if a confirmed tornado touched down in those area. Confirmation is expected sometime Thursday afternoon.
No other details have been released at this time.
