ROSENBERG, Texas - A high school teacher in Rosenberg accused of having a relationship with a student was charged Wednesday.
Richard Segura, 37, of Katy, is charged with improper relationship between educator and student.
Rosenberg Police began investigating the alleged relationship in February based on claims the Lamar Consolidated High School teacher had sent inappropriate messages to the student’s phone.
Police say the case has now been turned over to the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office.
