HOUSTON – Police have arrested a man wanted in connection with the beating death of his father in southwest Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, Kristian Daniel Pedroza, 30, is charged with murder in the death of his father, Bulmaro Hernandez Pedroza, 64.
Investigators said Bulmaro Pedroza was fatally beaten on March 20 at a home located in the 6700 block of Sylmar.
Prior to the assault, witnesses stated the victim and his son, Kristian Pedroza, were involved in a confrontation, and Kristian then fled the scene on foot.
Kristian Pedroza was charged and taken into custody on Saturday without incident.
