HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – An elderly man with Alzheimer’s is dead after walking out in front of a vehicle Friday in northwest Harris County.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened at around 8:10 p.m. in the 7800 block of Fallbrook Drive and Bunker Wood Lane.
Deputies said the victim died on scene.
A family member told police that the man is in his 70s and may have not known where he was.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with police. Alcohol was not a factor, according to deputies.
No charges have been filed at this time.
