HOUSTON – METRO officials confirm a pedestrian who was hit by a light rail train Friday morning has died.
The incident happened around 7 a.m. along Main near Hadley.
Authorities at the scene say the pedestrian walked into the path of the red line train. He or she was then taken to the hospital with serious injuries where they later died.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
Light rail service has since fully resumed in the area.
