HOUSTON – Police are investigating a crash involving a motorcycle rider and a truck in the Spring Branch area Thursday night.
According to the Houston Police Department, it happened in the 1300 block of Wirt Road near Westview.
Police said a white pickup truck pulled out of a shopping center parking lot in front of the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist crashed into the side of the truck, pinning the rider under the pickup.
HFD had to lift and pull the rider out from under the truck. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Police said the driver of the pickup truck was also transported to the hospital in stable condition.
