PANAMA CITY, Florida - Officials say two children have been found safe after an Amber Alert was issued in their disappearance, KENS 5 News reports.

Leslie Hernandez and children Kinsley and Kolby Hernandez, both 3 years old, were located safely in Panama City, Florida by the US Marshals, according to SAPD.

Leslie Hernandez is currently in police custody and arrangements are being made for the children’s return to San Antonio.

Police say U.S. Marshals made contact with Hernandez at a Goodwill donation station Thursday in Panama City. They say she did resist arrest but was eventually taken into custody.

She has been charged with injury to the elderly and interference with child custody.

The amber alert was issued Wednesday.

Police say it all started after she assaulted a relative at a home in 11000 Block of Candle Park in northwest San Antonio Wednesday.

Police say she then took off with the children and an Amber Alert was issued.
