It's that time of year: absolute weather perfection. These are the true, "dog days" as it's excellent walking weather: Not too hot, not too cold ... juuuust right! But how long will it last? If you're going for a long bayou walk like 'ol Bloopy here, it'll be on the warm side Saturday with low to mid 80s, but from Sunday on, it'll only top out in the 60s and 70s. Humidity will be low next week and we'll have rain-free conditions until the following weekend. It'll be Goldilocks weather................ Keep in mind, mornings will features chilly 40s and 50s while the afternoons reach perfect, room-temperature levels. Watch out, San Diego! While it won't feel like summer, don't forget the sunscreen because that sun angle is getting higher -- closing in on 65° elevation above the horizon. (90° is directly overhead.) The highest angle it reaches on the first day of summer here is around 84° above the horizon. (You can get it close to 90° if you're standing at 23.5°N latitude at the Summer Solstice. This line above the equator is known as the Tropic of Cancer.) Science lesson aside, SPF 15 or above will be your friend if you're on the water. Have a great Spring Break and I'll see you on the TV side this evening and each evening next week. I always appreciate a follow me on Facebook and that link is here--> Brooks Garner
