Finishing Touch Flawless: Is It Worth It?

The Finishing Touch Flawless is about the size of a lipstick with a built-in light and has a spinning disc that removes unwanted hairs.

HOUSTON -- For years, Finishing Touch Flawless facial hair remover was a popular infomercial. Now, you can purchase the gadget at stores.

So, we bought it for $20 at Ulta to find out if it’s worth it.

We recruited help from Kay Haynes. She’s from Baytown and does product reviews on her YouTube channel called Cheeseburgersays.

"There are a lot of women that might not want to talk about this on TV,” said reporter Tiffany Craig.

“Everyone has facial hair,” Kay replied. “I just wanted to know if it worked or not.”

Kay normally removes hair from all her face. For our test, she started with the peach fuzz on her cheek.

“It doesn’t hurt,” she said. “It doesn’t really feel like anything. You can definitely tell hair is taken off.”

The shaver worked on Kay’s cheek. Next, she used the hair remover on her upper lip.

“There’s literally no more hair up there and it’s really smooth,” she said.

After using the shaver for a few minutes, Kay is thrilled that it works!

“It’s worth it,” she said. “I’d buy it.”

Days later, she still loved the results.

Tiffany Craig didn’t have such good luck. The Finishing Touch Flawless removed stray hairs on her chin but it only lasted a day.

The company recommends replacing the head of the shaver every 6 months. A quick Google search shows you can purchase a pair of replacement heads for $13.
