HPD is hoping surveillance video of a jewelry store smash-and-grab in Greenspoint Mall will lead them to the robbers.
Police say the three men wearing masks and gloves walked into Paul's Jewelry in the north Houston mall on January 24 just after 7pm.
The men saw a store employee, and motioned for her to stay back as they began to smash the glass displays with hammers, and grab the jewelry, police say.
A security guard tried to tackle one of the robbers, but ended up falling on one of the display cases.
The men fled in a black late model Hyundai.
Police released the suspects' descriptions:
Suspect #1: 5 feet 7 to 6 feet tall, with blue hoodie, gray pants, black and white Jordan sneakers.
Suspect #2: 5 feet 7 to 6 feet tall, 130 to 190 lbs. black hoodie and black jeans.
