HOUSTON – Police say a man was killed in a hit-and-run in west Houston overnight.
According to the Houston Police Department, it happened at 11 p.m. Friday when witnesses say they saw a man lying in the middle of the road on Keegan near Longbrook.
Police said there are no lights along that section of the roadway, so it is dark. A dark-colored Honda SRV ran over the male as he was laying there.
He died at the scene. Police said the driver who struck the pedestrian, kept going and left the scene.
It is unclear if the driver knew what he or she hit.
