HARRIS COUNTY, Texas- A woman was fatally shot, and a man has been transported via Life Flight after a shooting in a Cypress neighborhood on Wednesday.
According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, they responded around 2:45 p.m. to a home located in the 17900 block Stoney Glade Court in the Copperfield subdivision.
Upon arrival, deputies say they learned a 26-year-old man had come to the front door asking for help after being shot multiple times. He was transported via Memorial Hermann Life Flight.
Shortly before, HCSO says they received another call from a neighbor in the 7700 block of Silent Star which is a block away.
After arriving to this scene, they say they found a 56-year-old woman with gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, HCSO doesn't know the relationship between the two individuals. They also say they aren't looking for any suspects.
