Galveston Co. Pct. 4 Constable arrested for suspicion of DWI

After speaking with Fisher, officers arrested him for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the hospital for a mandatory blood draw and then taken to the League City Jail.

GALVESTON COUNTY, Texas - A Galveston County Precinct 4 Constable was arrested Sunday night for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

According to the League City Police Department, 63-year-old Jerry Fisher was taken into custody shortly before 8:30 p.m.

Police say around 8:17 p.m., a caller reported an SUV driving erratically in the southbound lane at the 100 block of Highway 3 South in League City. Officers caught up to the car in the 1200 block of Highway 3 South and pulled the car over. Police say Fisher was behind the wheel and he had a female passenger with him.

After speaking with Fisher, officers arrested him for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the hospital for a mandatory blood draw and then taken to the League City Jail.

Fisher's passenger, Franchelle Forgy, 53, was charged with public intoxication.
