James Corden wants Beyonce on 'Carpool Karaoke'
Adele, Bieber, Elton John, Mariah Carey, the 1D boys...the list of big-name celebrities who've done James Corden's Carpool Karaoke is getting longer than the list of stars who haven't.
Still, there are some holdouts that Corden still hasn't managed to book for his viral Late Late Show segment, including one huge name that begins with "B" and rhymes with "fiancee."
In a new interview with EW, Corden shares his Carpool Karaoke wishlist, and we'll be honest...it's pretty ambitious. “We want everybody to come and do our show, but of course [we’d love to have] Beyonce, Prince, [and] Bruno Mars," he said.
We're surprised Bruno Mars hasn't done a segment yet, but the other two? When's the last time Bey deigned to appear on a late night show? Does Prince even own a TV?
He also shared another star who seems like a more reasonable ask. "I really want to do one with Sam Smith," he said. "I feel like I’ve got some really good harmonies [already] worked out for his songs.”
Considering Smith is basically the last British singer standing who hasn't belted it out in Corden's car, we'd expect to see that session coming soon.
