His mom, Crystal Renay Smith, shared a pic of Ne-Yo's namesake on Thursday, and the baby could not be more precious! We will enthusiastically second that #HeIsPerfect.

Baby Shaffer's daddy, Ne-Yo, also welcomed his second son with his own Instagram post.

"You got a BIG family lookin' out for you, immediate AND extended," the singer/songwriter wrote. "And we all love you to death. Gonna do EVERYTHING in my power to make sure ALL my children never need for anything EVER."

Ne-Yo also has two kids—Madilyn Grace and Mason Evan—from a previous relationship.

According to mom's Instagram, Shaffer weighed 6 lbs. 8 oz. at birth and was 19 inches long. Ne-Yo's wife also told followers that she had to get an emergency C-section due to complications. Smith credits her doctor and her hubby for getting her through that tough time.

Ne-Yo and Smith got married last month, which means this family has a lot to celebrate!
