Kanye doesn't need Uber, gets a ride with paparazzi instead

Kanye, friend of the paparazzi.

The rapper's had a rocky relationship with them in the past, getting charged with misdemeanor battery after lunging at a cameraman in LAX in 2013.It's about time Kanye starts putting the paparazzi to work for him.

Based on some new videos, he's more than made peace with their near-constant presence in his life—he's using them for menial labor.

After leaving a gym in LA, Kanye ran into some hangers-on waiting outside. And instead of calling an Uber or waiting for his car, he hitched a ride with one of them instead.

"Come on, I'll give you a ride, wherever you want to go," the paparazzo asks. Yeezy, didn't anyone teach you about getting into cars with strangers? Especially strangers paid to follow you around and gain as much access as possible?

He makes small talk with the guys.

And leaves an inspirational message for the fans as he exits the car.

Was it all staged? Probably — but hey, we're thankful for any Kanye-related news that isn't just a Twitter rant at this point.
