Ben Affleck is opening up about Jennifer Garner again.

The actor just shared his thoughts on his ex's Vanity Fair interview with the New York Times, and now he's opening up about co-parenting on Wednesday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

During Ben's appearance, the daytime talk show host mentioned her guest's "challenging year" and complimented his and Jen's ability to put their three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Sam, first. And we've got to agree! Seeing Ben and Jen spend time with their kids post-separation is also something that we really admire, and it's clearly important to the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star as well.

"We're good friends, and we're doing our best," Ben said. "And, our kids are fabulous. And, we're working our best for them."

And though Ben mentioned that his kids are doing well, he did joke that his son might need therapy one day. Apparently, four-year-old Sam actually believes that his dad is the Caped Crusader. (Pausing for your "Awwwws!" Okay, we'll continue.) As if that wasn't cute enough, Sam thinks his dad hangs in the Bat Cave and tells him things like, "Watch out for the Joker." Ugh, can you even?!

Ben plays along for now, but knows one day it might come back to haunt him.

"I know eventually he's going to be in therapy like, 'He liiiiiiiiied to me! There's no Bat Cave. He's doing Ellen," he said.

Yeah, that day is probably going to be pretty rough.
