Remember in the '90s, when Melissa Joan Hart was your go-to gal as the star of show Clarissa Explains it All? She would use charts and graphs to teach us things like how to prep for picture day, fake a sick day and annoy your brother.

It's nice to hear Clarissa, again! Here's Melissa Joan Hart as the title character in Nickelodeon's 'Clarissa Explains It All.'

Wouldn't it be nice to have a Clarissa Darling back in your life? Series creator Mitchell Kriegman, thought so, too!

Kriegman has caught up with Clarissa over a decade after the Nickelodeon series in the novel Things I Can't Explain: A Clarissa Novel, which is now available as an Audible audiobook for $19.99. The narrator? Melissa Joan Hart's sister Emily Hart.

Here's an exclusive clip of Emily Hart, as Clarissa, talking about life in her late-20s:

Since we've seen the 14-year-old, Clarissa interned at the Daily Post while attending night school, and, at age 22, had her own fashion/gender politics/crime beat at the newspaper in New York City...  that was all before the stock market crash of '08 happened and the paper "was forced to close up shop," as she says in this clip. Also in this excerpt, we find Clarissa looking for jobs, referencing Einstein, Heisenberg and Lady Gaga, and pretending her subway commute is a ride at Disney.
