Have an inspiring story? One of these artists may turn it into a song.

If you listened to The Life of Pablo and thought, "I could do better than that!"—this project is for you.

Kanye, Ellie Goulding, Mumford & Sons and The National are among the artists participating in a new collaborative album called Metamorphoses, turning lyrics and stories submitted by fans into 12 original songs. And if the first round of announced artists include heavyweights like Kanye and Ellie, we're excited to see who comes next.

Metamorphoses is a collaboration between advocacy organization Global Citizen and Communion Music, the record label of Mumford & Sons member Ben Lovett, with the goal of creating "a timeless artwork to magnify the movement of global citizens committed to eradicate extreme poverty by 2030."

Want to participate? Fans can submit words and stories at Metamorphoses' official site here. Submissions close on March 31, so get those creative juices flowing.
