Neil Patrick Harris to star in 'A Series of Unfortunate Events'

Of all the actors who could've played Count Olaf in A Series Of Unfortunate Events, we're not quite sure if this is the one we would've picked.

But nevertheless, Neil Patrick Harris is joining Netflix' series adaptation of Lemony Snicket's classic children's books, as the villainous count who makes the lives of Violet (played by Malina Weissman) and Klaus (Louis Hynes) a total misery.

When we picture Count Olaf, we see someone weirder and more sinister than the notoriously chipper NPH.
