Surprise! The Rock visits kids in hospital

He's a tough guy with a warm heart.

That would be Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock.

The actor, who was filming scenes in Savannah, Ga., for the upcoming Baywatch movie, took some time out Saturday to visit some children in the pediatric ward at Memorial Health Hospital.

The superstar posted images from his visit with young Aiden and Christopher, a teen who was being treated on a different floor because he is older.

In the post with the image of Aiden, Johnson writes: "Awesome experience and THANK YOU to all the hard working and caring staff who helped make this visit possible. To all the kids I met - you guys keep smiling and staying strong."

He adds, "Gotta tell ya little stuff like this will always be the best part of fame. "
