Rescue group: Adopter found for 3 dogs of woman dying from cancer
A Washington woman dying of terminal cancer was looking for a “forever home” for her three dogs.
"This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do,” Kathleen Zuidema wrote in a March 5 Facebook post. “My heart is breaking, and I'm sobbing as I write this.”
An adopter was found that lives close to the owner, according to Australian Shepherds Furever.
For the past year and a half, Zuidema says she has been fighting cancer.
“Things are now progressing to the point where I need to secure a home for the posse,” Zuidema said.

Zuidema had several requests for the “Aussie Posse's” new home. Autumn Moon, Moka Luka and Finnegan have always been together and the thought of them separating was not an option.
She said the trio needed a fenced yard for their “safety and freedom to run and play,” and would be best with an owner that can spend a lot of time with them.
At home, the Aussie Posse are the “perfect roommates,” and should be expected to climb onto your bed, or they may choose to sleep on one of their own.
“They are wonderful to be with," Zuidema said. "The love they give and joy that they bring me every day has been unbelievable."
