Here’s a look at what’s new on USA TODAY’s Best-Selling Books list…

And the winners are...: Talk about a post-Oscars glow. If books could take home gold statuettes, we’d have several winners this week in the category of authors-experiencing-an-Oscars bump.

DiCaprio wins but 'Spotlight' takes top prize at Oscars

Room, sporting a movie tie-in jacket, sees the biggest surge, moving up to No. 7 from No. 24 on USA TODAY’s Best-Selling Books list. (The full list will publish on Thursday.) That’s the highest spot ever for the 2010 novel by Emma Donoghue (who also adapted the screenplay), which previously peaked at No. 14. Brie Larson, who stars as a young mother held captive by a predator, was queen of this year’s awards season and winner of the Academy Award for best actress.

'The Revenant' is now a best-selling book

Leonardo DiCaprio had a sweet victory as best actor for The Revenant, which also nabbed Oscars for best director and best cinematography. The wilderness novel by Michael Punke is No. 20 this week, up from No. 37. (Its previous best was No. 8 on Jan. 21.)

Two novels whose adaptations earned multiple Oscar nominations — but failed to win — also saw increased sales. The Martian by Andy Weir is No. 24, up from No. 33. And Brooklyn, the 2009 novel by Colm Toibin about an Irish girl who comes to America in the 1950s, is No. 28. This is the best performance on the list for Brooklyn, which previously peaked at No. 55 (just last week), while The Martian has been as high as No. 2.
