A little girl is making a big difference for kids with cancer. For Madeline Domian, the idea of providing her Kare Kits 4 Kids is a matter of the heart.

ST. LOUIS - At St. Louis Children's Hospital, instead of an operation on the heart there was an operation of the heart.

Ten-year-old Madeline Domian came to her teachers and classmates at Stanton Elementary with an idea.  She wanted to put together care kits for kids with cancer.  The reason is very personal.

Madeline Domian with her aunt Kathy Reinhold ("Katie Do") who's death inspired Madeline's project.

Madeline lost her Aunt "Katie Do" (Kathy Reinhold) to cancer and she wanted to do something in her memory.

So with help from her classmates, she put together "Katie Do Kare Kits 4 kids" to help make life a little easier for kids going through a hard time in the hospital.
