Bob Dylan is back on the road this summer with a new album and tour.

The new collection of songs, titled Fallen Angels, will be the 74-year-old singer's 37th studio album. A release date is forthcoming.

Dylan will support the new album with a 27-date summer world tour with Mavis Staples, which arrives in the U.S. on June 4 after a string of shows in Japan.

For every pair of tickets purchased, fans will receive a redemption code to download Fallen Angels. Ticketing info and presale dates will be posted on Dylan's official site here.

Fallen Angels is the followup to his 2015 album of Frank Sinatra covers, Shadows in the Night. The twelfth installment of Dylan's Bootleg Series,The Cutting Edge 1965-66, arrived in November.

Album review: Dylan as voice of a prior generation

The tour marks a reunion with Dylan for Staples, who shared with USA TODAY how a young Dylan proposed to her.

"He was cute," Staples said. "But I said, 'Bobby, we're too young. I don't even know how to cook yet.' Also, I didn't tell him this, but my older sisters weren't married yet, and you don't go getting married before your older sisters."
