Jimmy Kimmel to host 2016 Emmys

Jimmy Kimmel will emcee TV's biggest night.

The Jimmy Kimmel Live! star will host the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards, which air on Sunday, Sept. 18.

Kimmel, who previously hosted the awards in 2012, broke the news on Twitter Monday morning:

Andy Samberg hosted the 2015 ceremonies, preceded by Seth Meyers in 2014 and Neil Patrick Harris in 2013.
