Prince William, Duchess Kate and kids play in the snow on ski break

LONDON — Kensington Palace on Monday released pictures of Prince William, Duchess Kate and their two children on a ski break — their first vacation as a family of four.

Kate, William, Prince George, two, and Princess Charlotte, who turns one in May, headed to the French Alps last week, and judging by the pictures, it looks like a great time was had by all in the winter wonderland retreat.

“This was their first holiday as a family of four and the first time either of the children have played in the snow,” the palace said in a statement.

John Stillwell, the royal photographer for Britain’s Press Association, was invited to take the pictures, which include snaps of William and Kate having a snowball fight.

"It was very special and fun short holiday for the family, and they are grateful that John Stillwell was able to capture the moment so well. The Duke and Duchess hope people enjoy the photos," the palace spokesperson said, in a statement carried by the Press Association.
