Have mercy! John Stamos sits for brutal ‘Fuller House’ reviews

John Stamos was already nervous about doing Fuller House, and while fans seem to be clamoring for more — so much so that Netflix has already green lit a second season — TV critics have had enough.

"I thought it turned out well and people seemed to like it," Stamos said during his appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers Thursday. "I read a couple nice reviews, but then there were these crazy (ones) — and I have nothing against these reviewers. They’ve given me great reviews. Grandfathered got love letters — but these were so sort of wacky, and they're real."

Meyers then fished out the stack of reviews and proceeded to read them aloud, identifying them by author name upon Stamos’ prodding.

"It's doubtful that there will be a more painful 2016 TV episode than the Fuller House pilot," The Hollywood Reporter’s Daniel Fienberg wrote, to which Stamos insisted, "You'll love episode 2, Daniel! It's the pilot! I mean, how (expletive) rude, right?"

Oh, that’s not the half.

"Fuller House begins as a sitcom family reunion," noted The New York Times’ James Poniewozik. "It becomes a self-conscious, dated and maudlin reminder of the ceaseless march of time and your inevitable demise."

"James, it's Fuller House, not Room for God's sake!" Stamos cried.

Uncle Jesse isn’t letting the critics get him down though. "You know what? The fans loved the show and, after five days, Netflix said, 'Let's do a second season,' so I thank the fans for that."
