It's a big, happy news day for Fuller House fans.

The Netflix comedy, released just last week, has been picked up for a second season and star Jodie Sweetin was announced Wednesday as one of the celebrity performers on the upcoming season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars.

DWTS viewers may feel a bit of loss, however, as ABC confirmed Derek Hough won't be back for Season 22, which premieres March 21. The dancing competition's full cast will be announced Tuesday on ABC's Good Morning America.

Fuller House, a generational spinoff of ABC family comedy Full House (1987-95), announced its own renewal Wednesday morning via Twitter.

Sweetin's announcement had more bells and whistles, as she made a surprise appearance on GMA.

So, get ready for plenty of Sweetin, as Jodie on DWTS and as TV alter ego Stephanie Tanner on Fuller House.
