Taylor Swift's MOH speech sounds like lyrics from one of her love songs

There are numerous reasons why you'd want Taylor Swift to be your maid of honor, right? Besides the fact that she is a celeb, this video from her childhood friend's wedding shows how awesome the singer would be in your bridal party.

At the wedding rehearsal, Tay spent time with the beautiful bride-to-be and also danced with some kids. (She is the godmother of Jaime King's son, Leo Thames after all, so she's probably pretty great with children in general.)

But, let's be honest, one of the best reasons to make T. Swift your maid of honor is because you know she'll give a beautiful speech. She certainly delivered for her BFF, Brit Maack on her big day.

In this video, Taylor's speech is split up into three parts and begins around the 6:35 mark.

"He would chase her and pursue her through middle school, and junior high, and high school," she began. "And their paths would diverge and then come back together. And, it would be so magically unpredictable, but at the same time so incredibly fated, just like the best love stories are."

Then, Tay talked about how her friendship with the bride has taken them from Brownies sleepaway camp all the way to the Grammys. To finish her touching speech, she said, "Tonight, we've got mothers crying. We've got fathers that are filled with pride, and I, and all of the rest of your friends, are overjoyed for you because we know that the best parts of your love story are yet to come. Congratulations!"

Let's put that bad boy to some music already!

Taylor also made a terrific addition to her friend's wedding party because she brought her A game to the dance floor and sang onstage.
