Sometimes you can get what you want and and what you need.

The Rolling Stones will make history March 25 as the biggest band to play in Cuba since the 1959 revolution.

Havana will host to the Rolling Stones on March 25, making them the biggest act to play there since Cuba's 1959 revolution.

The legendary band's show will take place in Havana’s Ciudad Deportiva three days after President Barack Obama's visit to the capital, where the U.S. reopened its embassy last summer.

It marks a sea change for a country where the government once persecuted young people for listening to rock music, then seen as a tool of Western capitalism.

“We have performed in many special places during our long career," the band said in a statement, "but this show in Havana is going to be a landmark event for us, and, we hope, for all our friends in Cuba too.”
