Leonardo DiCaprio just won't say where he's putting his Oscar

I'm not telling you where I'm putting this.

Leonardo DiCaprio never met a fun question he ever wanted to answer.

But Sunday night, he took this philosophy to new levels backstage at the Oscars.

Okay, we'll give him a break. It was a huge night. It was Leo's night. He finally won his Oscar, best actor for The Revenant.

But when asked, DiCaprio declined to say where he's putting the trophy. That's a basic question Leo! Give us that one!

But DiCaprio totally side-stepped it.

I'm passing this question onto him.

First he passed the attention over to his Revenant director Alejandro González Iñárritu, who won his second award for best director Sunday. DiCaprio said:

"He’s got to answer, where’s he going to put his second Oscar? Next to the first?"

Iñárritu even did a little dance with the Oscar on his head. Things looked interesting.

But rather than actually answer the question himself, DiCaprio did a classic answer detour and turned to praising his director -- talking about how great it was for Inarritu to win.

"I just want to congratulate him for that," said DiCaprio. Next question.

Yah, that win was great. But answer the question about the trophy. That didn't happen.

DiCaprio was suitably vanilla for the rest of his interview. He did say how happy he was to win, giving a winning Leo grin.

"It’s quite shocking. What can you say, I'm really grateful. I really am."
